Technekes Timeline : 10 Years in Review
Did you know Technekes started in Jack's kitchen? It did, and that's just one of the many tidbits revealed in our Ten Year Timeline. Enjoy.
As much as we pride ourselves on doing good work at Technekes, we also pride ourselves on doing "good."
It's been part of our culture for as long as we've been in business. We've opened our wallets for the Ronald McDonald House, including a $10,000 donation in December. We've opened our tool boxes to assemble and donate bikes to area kids. (No one will likely ever forget the sight of us full-grown adults racing around Badin Lake on those newly-assembled two-wheelers.) And we've opened our hearts to national and local organizations such as Toys For Tots and One Computer For One Child.
And here's the bonus - we have fun doing it. A quick peek at our annual holiday gift cards (no goofy giftbaskets for us) shows that when our folks do good, we feel good. Our clients can't wait to see what we'll come up with next.

Our new LEED certified* office overlooking the stunning Charlotte skyline is Technekes' headquarters. While we wish there were a lot of fascinating reasons that we selected Charlotte to put down our roots, the simple truth is that it was home to Preston and Jack when they started the company (Jack's kitchen serving as our global headquarters for the first few months). That said, Charlotte's a fine city. It's a beautiful place blessed with wonderful weather, a progressive business community, fine restaurants and loads of Southern charm. The mountains and the beach are within easy reach. It's hard to find a better place to call home.
Y'all come see us.
*That means it's green. We've got solar panels on the roof and turbo-powered hand dryers in the bathrooms. No paper towels here!
